Two of Ghana’s biggest music stars, Samini and Kofi Kinaata, will headline a free concert to mark the re-opening of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
The concert, titled “Re-ignition”, will be held on Friday, June 7, 2023 at the park in Accra.
The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park is a national monument dedicated to the first president of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah. The park was originally built in 1991, but it has been closed for renovations for the past two years.
The renovations have been completed, and the park is now open to the public.The “Re-ignition” concert is being organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts to celebrate the reopening of the park and to enjoy a night of Ghanaian music and culture.
The concert which will feature a variety of Ghanaian musicians, including Samini, Kofi Kinaata and the High School band is expected to attract a large crowd of people, and it is free to the public. Time ,8pm.
Diplomats and representatives from all political parties are invited to this event, which is sure to be a memorable one for all who attend.
