Nipsey Hussle‘s girlfriend Lauren London is mourning the loss of her longtime love after he was fatally shot in Los Angeles on Sunday.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the actress, 34, paid tribute to her boyfriend of five years, sharing a slideshow of photos of them together with their family.
“I am completely lost,” London wrote. “I’ve lost my best friend, my sanctuary, my protector, my soul.”
“We are lost without you babe — I have no words.”
Among the photos shared, London included a sweet image of Hussle throwing their 2-year-old son Kross in the air. London also posted a selfie of Hussle and Kross. This is the first time the actress has shared a photo of their baby son’s face.
London is also mother to son Cameron Carter with rapper Lil Wayne and Hussle, 33, was a father to daughter Emani Asghedom from a previous relationship.
London’s tribute comes just hours after a suspect was arrested in the Bellflower neighborhood of Los Angeles for Hussle’s murder.

The suspect in question is Eric Holder, the LAPD tweeted.
Hussle was gunned down on Sunday afternoon in front of his Hyde Park clothing store, Marathon Clothing Company. Two other men were also shot, though they survived their injuries.
At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, LAPD Chief Michel R. Moore described a personal dispute between Holder and Hussle, alleging that Holder showed up in front of Hussle’s clothing store multiple times before shooting him.
“Mr. Holder walked up on multiple occasions and engaged in a conversation with Nipsey and the others that were there. He left and subsequently came back armed with a handgun and purposefully and repeatedly fired, striking and killing Nipsey Hussle,” Moore said.
Most recently, London and Hussle highlighted their romance in the March issue of GQ, opening up about how they connected in 2013 when she wanted to buy his limited edition mixtape as a wrap gift for her The Game costars.
London, best known for starring in 2006’s ATL, also gave up a big television role for their romance, according to Hussle.
“Lauren was handpicked by John Singleton to do Snowfall. She read, got the part, shot the pilot… did stunts… this was her dream role,” he told GQ. “And then she got pregnant with our son. That was a really hard decision for her to make,” said Hussle, who also shared that he met London for the first time in person at his L.A. store.
