M.anifest has recently been on the radar of rap music after his sterling performance of Tim Westwood’s show on Capital Xtra.
While some have lauded the ‘godMC’ for the depth of his lyrics, others believe he makes rap difficult to enjoy.
There is another school of thought that M.anifest’s music is considered as deep because of the English language he usually uses for his composition.
In one of his engagements with his fans on Twitter, a fan asked: “A lot of people thinking you are the best in Ghana because of your obvious superiority in English, do you think rap us more about the language you speak, than what you say?”
In his response he wrote: “nothing to do with choice of language. It’s about ideas, skills, bars, flow, wit, musicality and being compelling.”
After his freestyle on Tim Westwood’s show Sarkodie also took to twitter to commend him, Kwesi Arthur and Medikal who had earlier been on the same show to strut their stuff.
