In the post, the demonstration will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Freedom and Justice Park at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
“If you’ve ever been harassed by the police for a roll of herb, this march is for you, to all beneficiaries of the herb, investors, dealers, farmers etc…Sharp!!!!!!!!! #MarchForFreedom #NoDecriminalizationNoVote #codeblaqmedia #reggaeculturetvghana,” their post read.
The Rastafarians also noted that they wouldn’t exercise their franchise at the 2020 December elections if they are not taken seriously.
The fight for the decriminalisation of marijuana in Ghana has been on a talk basis as so many celebrities including some statesmen have encouraged the government to make it legal.
