Ghanaian Broadcaster, Kofi Okyere Darko will be hosting this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, ghanaweekend.com has learnt.
This comes after news was rife that Kwame Sefa Kayi, morning show host of Peace FM had declined to host the 20th edition of the award scheme.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Accra International Conference Centre was instituted some two decades ago to recognize, celebrate the hard work and dedication of various stakeholders and players in the entertainment industry.
Darko has over two decades experience in the Ghanaian entertainment industry. He is credited with breaking the careers of many Ghanaian artistes.
He has hosted the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for two consecutive times.
He has managed the careers of the likes of Wutah, Praye, Daasebre Gyamena, Ofori Amponsah, and Tinny.
