Actress Lydia Forson is worried the Board of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards were not deep in their thinking to ban Ghana’s biggest artistes from partaking in future Ghana Music Awards.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been banned indefinitely for their brawl on Saturday while the Ghana Music Awards was ongoing.
Reacting to the news, Lydia Forson noted that the ban on the two artistes will not solve the problem but rather create cracks further cracks in the music industry.
She noted that the punishment meted out is a knee jerk punishment and should not have been the case adding that their decisions were not well thought through.
Her tweet read ” I do stand with the boards decision to penalize the artist involved, but this knee jerk penalization will ONLY create even more chaos, tension and division in the industry. This wasn’t well thought through.
