Ghanaian broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah has expressed joy about the ‘reunion’ between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Nana Aba took to Instagram to share a photo of herself, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale and captioned it thus:
“For those who questioned my silence on @stonebwoyb & @shattawalegh incident; they’re both special.Getting them to smoke the peace pipe was important. A big thanks to Dr. Kofi Abban for his immense support & vision for these two. Dr. Abban a.k.a Asomdwee hene, God bless you. You’re one in a million. Shatta and Stone are eternally grateful for your kind words and wise counsel. To Bullet, Bulldog and BlackCedi, you’re gems. God bless you. Long may Shatta and Stone RISE!”
She also shared another which has former manager of Shatta Wale, Bulldog and Stonebwoy’s manager, Black Cedi.
This comes after tensions between the two Dancehall artistes escalated into a brawl on the stage of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) between members of the entourages of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, a situation which has landed both of them in court.
Earlier Shatta Wale shared a photo of himself and Shatta Wale, accompanied by a cryptic message from the ‘Dancehall King’ but with reconciliatory undertones on Facebook and Twitter which suggested that the pair might be working on a project together.
“Unity is strength. Love is the key to many doors. Brotherhood is Loyalty. Peace is Freedom. My brother and I got a great vision for Ghana music and we taking it to the world,” Shatta said in his post.
Stonebwoy also took to his social media page to share the same photo with the caption: “IF it be possible as far as it depends on you, live peacefully with all men. Romans 12: 18.”
“The wise shall inherit glory. But shame shall be the promotion of fools,” he added.
Meanwhile some have suggested that this might be a mere gesture to help ease matters when they appear in court on June 26, 2019.
