While some people have lauded the peace concert to held for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, others believe that it is a useless venture.
Highlife artiste Kuami Eugene has shared his opinion on the said concert which is meant to help cement the peace between the two acts.
In an interview with SVTV Africa, Kuami said he has fears that another fight may break out at the concert grounds.
“The concert is not necessary. All the need to do to tweet at each other, meet and resolve their differences. This peace concert may even result in another mayhem. They can hold peace thousand peace concerts, if there there is no genuine love between them, it won’t work,” he noted.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have announced that they have now ironed out their differences are looking forward to seeing their followers do same.
This comes after followers of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were engaged in a brawl at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards; an act that marred the show and kept it in abeyance for about 30 minutes.
In the meantime, the charges of disrupting peace and threatening to harm at the VGMAs are still pending court appearance on June 20, 2019.
Some have said the whole Unity Concert and peace-making has been contrived to help them seek clemency from the court.
