Gospel musician Jack Alolome has opened up on reports that he is an alcoholic.
Responding to the issue on The Delay Show, he admitted that he used to take in alcohol but upon realising it wouldn’t help him, he has stopped.
According to him, about two years ago, he had a car accident through drunk driving – and that became the turning point in his life.
“Friends I used to hang out with introduce me to alcohol. I did not know how to take it until I met them. But God gave me signal that it could lead me into trouble so I quit,” he said.
He also recounted that one day, after taking a mixture of Red Label and Coco Cola with some big men, he had a terrible accident while he was driving.
His car got spoilt and it took a good Samaritan to help him repair it.
He said some people are used to describing people with their past. But he was thankful to God that he was saved from the habit.
He is well-known for songs like ‘Tomorrow By this Time’, ‘Glory’, ‘Adom Nsuo’, among others.
