Singer Davido has sent his praise and congratulations to fellow singer Burna Boy after he won the award for the Best International Act category at the just ended BET awards ceremony at the Microsoft Center.
Davido who won the award himself last year posted a message on his Instagram page for his friend Burna Boy stating that Burna Boy deserved the award and has many more of such to come his way.
In his post he wrote:
“Congrats Mi lo lo !!! U over deserve this my brother !! More to come @burnaboygram ????”
Burna Boy faced stiff competition from artists such as Mr Eazi, AKA (South Africa), Aya Nakamura (France), Dave (U.K.) and Dosseh (France).
Other Nigerians who have won the prestigious award include Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, 2Baba and DBanj.
