Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui in an interview on Royal TV said jealousy is what drives people to publish and pass negative comments about her on social media every now and then.
She said she doesn’t have issues with anyone in the movie industry but it’s normal for people to not like her.
“ After I won an award in Ghana and another award in Nigeria and started my business I saw that people I was cool with, ones who used to support me stopped being nice to me. Even one girl who used to be very cool with me was saying certain things about me that it disturbed me in the sense that she and I had no problems and then she gets up one day to say things about me,” she said.
“When I had nothing we were all comfortable but the moment I opened my shop, now I’m this, I’m that. It’s jealousy”, she concluded.
She ended by saying she is not the social media person everyone knows her to be.
“I’m a very reserved person. If you compare my social media life to my real life, they are two different people”, she stated.
