Brother Sammy, on the Daybreak Hitz, said it is okay for people to talk about him all the time and that people only talk about people who are recognized.
He said that he doesn’t sit to create controversies; however, they just come and as a Christian, he is always prepared for those moments.
He added that it’s after the trials we see victory so he’s not bothered.
“One thing I know is if you’re a nobody, no one will never even talk about you. I believe God has made me somebody, so it’s good for your own people we’re the same human being but another human being is talking about another human being. It means God said some made fearfully so I think let’s take it like that. It’s cool,”, he said.
Answering to whether or not he thinks people don’t like him, he said, “Oh, it’s not that. I think it’s because I follow Jesus that’s I’ve got all the fight. I’m not the follower but everybody has the way they face their problems. Everybody has their ‘nsohwe’ that they pass through. I think it’s good because some people don’t even understand Christianity well. You must go through tests to get your testimony and I believe that any time I get a test, I get my testimony so it’s cool for me. With God all things are possible”.
The Nation’s worshipper, as he likes to be called, further said he lets the issues slide because you either toughen up or be overpowered.
“In Ghana, if you don’t kill them they will kill you so I have to kill them first. You know somebody can buy airtime worth one cedi and come and write anything about you, bad things so I won’t let anyone buy credit one cedi to come and insult me and I’ll stay indoors and cry. No. I won’t do that”, he stated.
He has been in several controversies with lots of industry people over the years.
