Wendy Shay has blamed her ‘improper’ appearance to former president Kufuor’s house on her stylist.
According to her, she selected her own clothes but her stylist came around and convinced her to go with what she wore for the visit.
“Actually, this is what happened: I took a very long shirt and then jeans and then my stylist came in and she was like since you’re going just to his house, I think you should wear something casual”, she said.
“So it wasn’t my choice. I’m definitely going to say I made a mistake. I should’ve just put my foot down and be like I know my brand”, she added.
She said she learned from that experience to listen to herself.
The musician faced social media trolls for days for visiting former president, J. A Kufuor in a ‘not so’ appropriate cloth.
