Musician Fameye has disclosed that he had to try a lot of career opportunities including playing football, joining a cultural troupe, acting comedy skits and series.
According to the ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker, he did not really know what he wanted to do so he just tried everything that he laid his hands on.
In an interview with Jay Foley on Daybreak Hitz, he said, “I’ve been staying with people because I lost both parents when I was one. My uncle brought me to Accra to stay with my aunt at Ashongman. I hustled till I started to sleep with friends. They didn’t like the kind of career that I chose”.
“Today I say I’m a cultural dancer, tomorrow I’ll say I’m a footballer, the next I want to be an actor. They didn’t know what I really wanted to do”, he added.
He said while a footballer, he was a defender by name Eto’o. He was scoring goals and was a cultural dancer as well.
He added that he was acting as well. “I have comedy skits. I hustled,” he said.
He was however inspired by King Ayisoba to start the music journey.
“I was inspired by King Ayisoba so those times I go to Afrikiko to watch him perform. I liked his style especially how he screams”, he said.
Fameye by (real name Peter Paa Kwasi Famiyeh Bozah) has been doing professional music for six (6) years now.
He is out with a new tune titled ‘Mati’ and he is set to release a new one soon.
