Rapper Edem in a Facebook post has advised up-and-coming artistes to be grateful to whoever contributes to their craft.
He used himself as an example and narrated how Hammer, the legendary producer, who is now a baker, started with many up-and-coming acts and only a few of them made it.
“Dear Upcoming brothers…We were over 200 in hammers bootcamp..16 Made it to the compilation…I am the only one hammer produced…The reason I am special is that from 2003 to 2009. I was always with him in good and bad times and I am grateful to him from 2003 till now,” he wrote.
“The secret to making it is being grateful to whoever helped, no matter how small their contribution. Be Grateful today and see the results…#Gbevunation #Vrmg #Torgbuitsal #Globalmind,”, he continued.
According to him, the secret to making it in the industry is being grateful to whoever has helped, no matter how small their contribution is.
