Lucky Mensah is obviously enraged by a recent statement by Abeiku Santana that he helped to promote his songs in Maryland.

This has infuriated the highlife musician so much that he has resorted to the media to air his grievances.

Lucky said in a video making the rounds on social media that said has told a lie on Okay FM that he marketed his song for him in the US.

“Do you know how to write music? Do you know how to produce a song? You are a thief. If you claim you sold ‘Come Back’ in Maryland, then I have to hand you over to my lawyer,” he said.

“If you dare me, I won’t take you to any diviner. I will beat you up anywhere I meet you,” he added.

In an interview with Londona on Accra-based Kingdom FM’, h said Abeiku had always ridiculed him while playing his songs on the radio.

He further stated that Abeiku has never helped to promote his music. He said any time he would play his songs, he had to give him money.

“He took payola before playing my songs. He did not do that for free so he cannot say he has helped me to promote my music,” he noted.

Lucky added that the only presenter who does not take payola before playing his music is Kwame Sefa Kayi of Peace FM.

“Don’t be surprised about the payola bit because he is not the only one that takes payola. All of you do. I can only single out Kwame Sefa Kayi. When you give him money, he won’t even take it. He would play the song if he thinks it is good,” Lucky Mensah told Londona in the interview.

Lucky Mensah is known for songs like Lucky Mensah ‘I Miss You,’ ‘Aduu Sumo Akwadu,’ ‘Old School,’ among others.
