The Kumasi Arts Community is set to host the Kumasi Street Art Festival. The event us scheduled to come off on on September 28 and 29, 2019.
The event is expected to be bigger than the popular Chalewote (held in Jamestown – Accra). A call for artists has been announced on Facebook.
The event is expected to feature some very exciting stuff from Ghana, Africa and the rest of the world.
The event will also display rich art and culture from the Ashanti Kigdom and other affiliate traditional areas.
It will be a mix of indigenous culture and modern cosmopolitan art and will be held on the main Kumasi Sports Stadium road.
There will be food fairs, music and fashion events and more.
