Kofi Okeyere Darko, popularly known as KOD has revealed in an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty why he continued staying with EIB when their salaries delayed for 7 months.
He said he had side jobs like his fashion company that kept him going in the hard times.
“The thing is that I have Nineteen 57. The people who work there work full time. They are there from morning till evening. Imagine being a news person at Starr FM. You’re caught up there, you’re there from morning till evening you don’t have any side gig,” he said.
This comes a few days after the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EIB, Bola Ray revealed that his company went through financial challenges which led to the exodus of its workers.
Bola Ray said at the International Youth Empowerment Summit that most of the workers left because the company could not pay them.
Kofi Okyere Darko Radio left Gold where he had worked for more 18 years for Starr FM in 2015.
