Ghanaian northern based musician, Fancy Gadam has said he would love a simple life.
He said he would have been on the streets pushing trucks or doing kayaye if he were to quit music.
The thought to quit music occurred to him after the accident that killed some of his fans in Tamale last year prior to his concert on which Patoranking was billed to perform.
Speaking to Andy Dosty “ Maybe I’ll be on the streets, I’ll join my brothers on the street. Maybe I’ll be pushing truck or do kayayo. I’m serious,” he said.
“The reason why I said this is I would’ve loved to be like the street guys, like those who are living normal lives. Maybe selling pure water on the streets or maybe helping somebody to sell waakye”
He said music and stardom has limitations and that he is a simple guy and would love to live a normal life.
“Just live normal life because being a superstar too you have some limitations that you can’t go there but if I quit music I’m free to do anything that I want,” he added
“or maybe like I’ll be a dancer for some of artistes because that’s what I can do best apart from being a musician”
“Me abi simple guy” he concluded.
He however said if music fails to work for him, he would go into business but the reason he has not started yet is because he cannot manage both at the moment.
Fancy Gadam is a singer, song writer and dancer. He is known for songs including ‘total cheat’, ‘yakaChana’, and ‘We dey collect’.
