Comedian and actor Funny Face has revealed to Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s ‘Showbiz Agenda’ that he almost committed suicide when he divorced from his wife.
He said the mockery that came with his ex-wife’s ‘2-minute man’ comment had a great toll on his life.
According to him, he had to go through therapy to be sane.
“I nearly committed suicide, not really because of the 2-minute issue but because people who knew nothing about the situation but the mockery and the fact that business-wise, business friends were making a mockery and some financial side that I wouldn’t want to talk about,” he said.
He narrated how Scrap Dealers and kids even knock on his gate to suggest solutions to him and how businessmen made fan of him during powerpoint presentations and in times of searching for sponsorship. He said the kids even called him ‘Uncle 2’.
“So the thing weighed on me very very well,” he added.
Funny Face is currently working on a new television series called ‘Kasoa Trotro.’
