Comedian Funny Face has said in an interview on Zylofon FM that he has put stand up comedy on hold for now.
According to him, television series pay as compared to stand up comedy.
“TV series pays more than the stand up so I’ve been doing the television series for some time now. Once in a while, I do standup,” he said.
He said he will resume sometime in December. “Probably God willing in December I’ll come out with my stand up,” he said.
He is however not bothered about not putting up an excellent performance after being off for long.
“If you’re talented, you’re talented, end of the story. I’m comedy. You should see me when I go to most shows. I pick mic, they start laughing before I talk, that is favour,” he stated.
“You’ll love my new materials. Everything I’ve been through- 2 minutes, twins, saga, police holding my buttocks, everywhere,” he added.
He made this known to Sammy Flex on the ‘Showbiz Agenda.’
