Gadam Nation boss, Fancy Gadam has revealed in an interview that he has canceled float and the grand reception his fans put up any time he goes for a concert.
He told Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM that he is no longer putting his fans through the danger of escorting him in the float style he is known for.
This decision is as a result of losing a number of his fans in a float last year in Tamale while he was welcoming Nigerian musician, Patoranking to his concert last year.
According to reports, 8 died and 20 others were badly injured in the accident.
“Basically, my team and I have cancelled float. I will never do that again. I will never make my fanbase come out to welcome me on the street”, he said.
“So anytime we’re doing a show, we’re just gonna sell the tickets somewhere that the fans will get it,” he added.
He said taking out the float will not affect his brand and that he is back on the music scene because of his fans.
“When I gave up it was the same fans that give me hope to come back. A lot of messages telling me oh you know say if you no come back, Northern music go die, You know say if you no come back, you’re the only eye we have in the Northern Region. Everything happens for a reason so give everything to Almighty Allah and come back, continue for us”
“I am here because of them. I am back in the industry because of my fan base. Because of the pressure, they’re giving me to come back and continue and that’s why I’m here. Left with me, I’d have stopped music a long time because I am too young for these things to be happening to me,” he concluded.
Fancy Gadam is out with the visuals of his new song, ‘eb3y3 yi3’ which is off his second album. the ‘Dream’ and it is doing well on youtube.
