Zambians are not taking likely the xenophobic attacks in South Africa at all.
A disc jockey by name DJ Hero, who played South African music in a club, was beaten to a pulp.
This comes on the heels of Zambian citizens placing a ban on playing South African music on their airwaves.
Even though the music was not played on the radio, he was not spared for the act.
Another Zambian DJ known as Star DJ Virus wrote on Facebook: “Zambian DJ Hero DJ gains weight in seconds after playing South African music in Club on the a Copperbelt #StopXenophobia.”
