‘Tuffseed’ hitmaker, Stonebwoy has said his deal with Samsung has been on hold since the VGMA incident.

According to him, although they have pulled the reins on the contract, the relationship between the two brands is still strong.

Today on the Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, he was asked whether his deal with Samsung will be fixed [now that it seems there is peace and calm ] or the relationship is still hanging, he replied, “The most I can say is that it’s on hold for now due to the instances because these are companies that have to promote our interest as well which I absolutely understand.

He said the deal being on hold does not mean it is terminated and that his deal was a whole package from the very headquarters of the Samsung company.

“It’s on hold is not a quit, to be honest, so after everything whatever, the relationship is still strong we can see what we’ll do because even if I refuse to talk about it, it’s obvious out there. Everybody sees now that there’s less of what we said we were going to do so that is what is actually pushing me now to make people know that it’s just on hold like it’s not terminated whatever, it’s on hold and we have to deal with certain issues first and foremost.

“My deal was like a 360. It was not to just do a one advert or two advert or whatever. It was straight from the head office in Korea or se China or whatever so they have their rules and all of that which I humbly accept.

He also said the misunderstanding should be a yardstick to drive change in events organization in Ghana.

“My legal team sat with them and we got to a very beautiful conclusion because if not for the incidence, we would [swallowed a word] billboards and everything already but there’s a sacrifice for everything .That is the aspect I want to see it from that if we have lost or we have had to sacrifice all these things then I will not, I will never forget and leave that incidence to go without standing on top of it to change a number of things.

“Or else, our sacrifices will be in vain- my sacrifice will be in vain, Shatta’s sacrifice will be in vain and this is the aspect I’m seeing it from and I beg that the powers that be will help us to turn some things around when it comes to our events, our awards, our artistes. Let’s use that as a point, once upon a time which was the 20th anniversary streaming worldwide so that we can all stand on that and say once upon a time this was what happened that brought this up now that change this, that change that,” he said.
