Bless Komson, an up and coming gospel artiste who was nominated for gospel Artiste of the Year at just ended Emerging Music Awards recounted how she was ‘robbed’ off the award.
She said she was assured of winning the slot.
According to her, the assurance came from some of the organizers of the awards scheme.
Bless made this revelation among others on the ‘Entertainment Arena’ show on Kingdom FM in an interview with Londona.
She stated that, some members of the awards scheme kept calling her to vote more because she was losing and even sent her screenshot of votes recorded.
According to Bless, they kept with more pressure to vote more because her competitors were over taking her so she and her husband invested over 4,000 cedis in votes.
She also stated that, the secretary of Kusstar Entertainment by name Cilla called fews days to the awards night that she has won the award only to realize that the award was given to another person by name “Ewurama Police”
She continued by saying, she was surprised so she immediately questioned Kusstar on night of the awards as they begged her and also said some of her money will be refunded to her.
Bless has advised emerging artistes to work harder and not to have interest in lobbying for awards.
