Dancehall act Epixode has said on Zylofon FM that the first time he heard Fantana’s ‘So What’, he thought it was an Ebony song.
He explained that the song also sounded like a weaker version of the late dancehall artiste, Ebony.
“I thought it was one of Ebony’s songs cos it sounded like younger Ebony, like a weaker Ebony but then I had to find out who the person is and I think I’ve met her once but I didn’t know who the person was,” he added.
He also told the host Sammy Flex that he did not know who Fantana was until the sanitary pad incident which happened last Saturday.
Fantana is being managed by RuffTown Records, the same record label that handled the late Ebony Reigns.
The outfit, after the death of Ebony, first produced Wendy Shay who has for the past year produced hit songs like ‘Uber Driver’, ‘Astalavista’, ‘The Boy is Mine’, ‘Psalm 35’, ‘All for You’ and ‘Stevie Wonder.’
Just like Ebony songs for these artists on the record label are written by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bullet.
