Big J Cartel, a member of the Praye trio, has refuted claims that the group is on the verge of collapse again.
According to him, the group is now together than before.
He told Ghanawekend TV that Beverly Afaglo who is the wife of a member of the trio, Choirmaster, only expressed her opinion in an interview with Zionfelix.
“We are very much together even than before and everything is fine. We’ve been talking. Just yesterday I even spoke to Choirmaster. He’s in the States. Praye Tintin too is still in Canada-Toronto, our manager too is there.,” he said.
“I think the media blew it out of proportion. But it’s normal; it’s show business and people would want to pull traffic to their websites,” he continued.
Beverly had told Zion Felix that the other members had sidelined her husband in some activities regarding the group.
She said Big J and Kente had been performing tasks for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) without Choirmaster.
After the statement, the manager of the group, Kobby Blackmore also stated that Choirmaster also travelled outside the country to perform without the other group members.
Praye Tintin (also known as Kente) in an interview with Peace FM also said he was disappointed in Beverly for the statement.
“If we are talking of sideline, it is the husband who has sidelined us when it comes to his dealings; but we are ok…I am really disappointed in the wife because she is not the spokesperson for the group. She had no right to speak for us. Praye was there before she came and it is better she consults us before saying anything. She can speak for her husband but not for the group” he said in an interview on Peace FM Entertainment Review programme.
Praye has been billed to perform at the 2019 Decemba 2 Rememba concert.
