Ghanaian dancehall artiste Epixode has broached the discussion of a topic which has always been the bane of musicians in Ghana.
According to the ‘Wahala Dey’ singer, the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has not been functional because it lacks the right leadership.
He told Ghana Weekend TV in an exclusive interview one person he believes has the potential to run MUSIGA is rapper and entrepreneur, Desmond Blackmore, known in showbiz as D-Black.
He told Lamy Gates in the interview that D-Black is business-minded and would know how well to market the musicians union.
MUSIGA is preparing to elect a new president after the expiration of the tenure of Bice ‘Obour’ Osei Kuffour.
Ras Caleb Appiah and Bessa Simons are vying for the President position.
