Famous Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji has named Ghana’s Dancehall King, Shatta Wale as her favourite Ghanaian artiste.
Speaking to AJ Sarpong on Citi FM’s Brunch in the Citi, she said she has no Ghanaian playlist but she likes Shatta Wale.
When asked which other Ghanaian artistes she likes, she mentioned Becca.

AJ : Now, since obviously we play a lot of music on this show, I need to ask you your Ghanaian playlist. Do you have a Ghanaian playlist?
Linda: I don’t, actually but I like Shatta Wale
AJ: So apart from Shatta, any other artiste?
Linda: I like ermmm , I like Becca.
AJ: Okay, we’d try our hardest to just introduce you to other Ghanaian artistes before you’re done.
Linda: Who’s the biggest artiste? Who’s like your Tuface?
AJ: Can we link Samini to Tuface? Samini is one of the few people…or Daddy Lumba?
Linda: Is it a guy or a girl?
AJ: A guy. So we have Samini. We have a lot of S’s so we have Samini.
Linda: There’s no Sam
AJ: Samini
Linda: yeah, I know him.
AJ so we have Samini, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale
Linda (with excitement): Sarkodie… I like him. I like him. I like him. I like Sarkodie. He’s been around for a while.
AJ : He has. Then we have the K’s. We have Kwesi Arthur, we have Kidi, we have Kuame Eugene ermmm yes so I’ll make sure I prepare a playlist for you before you go.
Linda: I’ll appreciate it.
