Kuami Eugene has a message for people who think he chose ‘Obiaato’ as the title for his new song just to trick his fans.
People have tagged the song to be one of those which the artiste play with words and use vulgar words but lie about it so it gets airplays and awards.
Eugene said he chose that title because the words used to sing praises have been overly exhausted so he wanted something that was unique.
He said he did this song to thank God for making people fall in love with his songs and sing along easily.
“Actually the year has ended. I’ve had another good year and I’m super grateful for that so I figured that I should do a song to remind people that the year has been so good. God has been so good to me that every single song that I put out there people sing along,” he told Sammy Flex in an interview.
When Sammy suggested he could’ve made it ‘Nyame Adom’ he responded, “that’ll kind of be like a cliche. ‘Nyame Adom’ is all over the place and one thing about music is that bit should stand out, it should be unique. And the uniqueness of your song also counts. It gathers some numbers to follow the song, So I figured I should pick a subtitle that when you go searching, mine will stand out,” he concluded.
