Music producer Jeff Quaye (Jay Q) has expressed displeasure about his exclusion from Obrafour’s 20th-anniversary celebration.
Obrafour, put together several activities to celebrate 20 years of being in the music industry.
On November 9, 2019, he put together a concert which featured most of the top acts he has worked with, in the industry.
He also produced a documentary to tell the story of his journey so far.
However, Jay Q, a prominent music producer who was also instrumental in the music-making process of Obrafour is not happy that he was not included in the whole celebration.
He took to Facebook to write:
“Paemuka wahala. If the purpose of the event was to recognize the gems behind the album and not obrafuors entire career, why wasn’t myself and Zola recognized? It is true that my friend Da’ Hammer and his partner “deep”produced the album but all the songs on the album was engineered by me and my co engineer Zola at CHM, yet paemuka @20 didn’t recognize us. Anyway congratulations to Obrafour and His team.”
Obrafour is yet to respond to Jay Q’s post.
