Veteran actor David Dontoh might be considering politics in the future.
When AJ Sarpong asked him on Citi TV’s ‘Hall of Fame’ if he is considering politics in the future, he replied: “I am a political animal like every human being so if it meets me along the way of my life why not? I’m ready to serve my country.”
“Because that’s what I do on the screen and on stage and on television so if politics come to me, I’m a dramatist, I write, direct, produce and act but people forget that all we do is about life,” he said.
“Drama is a slice of life put on stage so I understand life and I know so much of the ramifications of politics as in how it operates socially cos I deal with human beings. I play politicians. I play all kinds of human beings and so if it’s politics I understand politics”
David Dontoh is known for movies including ‘Kukurantumi- Road To Accra’, ‘Somewhere In Africa’, ‘Sika Sunsum’, ‘The Dead’ among others.
