It seems the misunderstanding between Nigerians and South Africans is not ending anytime soon.
The two countries are still at each others’ throats with every chance they get on twitter.
However, some South Africans have sworn to take it off social media to real-life- ‘it will end in tears’.
Just hours ago, a fan asked Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni when she will be coming to South Africa and she replied that after Burna Boy returns.

A week ago, Burna boy announced Africa Unite event scheduled to hold in SA.
He said it was the first of many and that he will donate part of the proceeds to the victims of xenophobic attacks.

South African Rapper AKA, had demanded an apology from Burna boy which has not been rendered.
The demand for apology became necessary to Aka after Burna Boy promised to not visit South Africa again and threatened to beat Aka during the xenophobic attacks and now he is going to the exact place he vowed not to go.
After realizing there was no apology was going to come from Burna Boy and seeing SA might lose on the good initiative which was going to benefit his own people, Aka agreed that with or without an apology, Burna Boy should be allowed in.
I think it’s gone far enough now, apology or not. We cannot afford for South Africans and Nigerians to continue with this type of energy. This will not end well.

So when Teni was asked whether she will be visiting, she confirmed on the conditions of Burna Boy going and returning.
However, a fan reminded her that Burna Boy is yet to apologize and she fired back by letting the tweep know SA is not for an individual and that Burna Boy is not apologizing to anybody.
You are not the owner of south Africa! It is for all of us. Gbogbo wa la jo ni SouthAfrica. He’s not apologizing to iyalaiya anybody https://t.co/VgwJu0TXou
