A former employee of UTV, Maame Yeboah Asiedu has refuted claims that she was fired the station.
According to her, she is too good to be fired. She even asked if she looks like the people who get fired from workplaces.
In an interview with Delay on The Delay Show, she was asked if she is no longer at her former workplace because she was sacked, she replied, “Me? Me? Lord! For what? Me I’m too good to be sacked. Sack me? Do I look like those who get fired?”
“If you’re a visionary and you know where you’re going, you don’t get distracted by hearsays. Obviously I was at that time at my peak. I was the biggest on tv so when I left people never expected I’d leave so if I leave people would want to find reasons why I left. Some will say I was fired, this and that but everyone knows I was not fired. I wasn’t fired. I left,” he said.fird
“I wasn’t fired. I resigned as in resignation. I resigned” she reiterated.
The once upon a time UTV telenovela host is now with Adom as a presenter and producer.
She said she is happy where she is now to the extent that it has given her the opportunity to do her ministry which is counselling singles and married.
