Nana Aba Anamoah has said she would not apologize for her recent comment about the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party.
The GHOne TV broadcaster had said on television that the two parties have failed the nation, adding that it was time citizens woke up from their sleep.
She further expressed her disappointment in President Akufo-Addo for taking a swipe at former President Mahama during his recent tour in the Volta Region.
Speaking on The KSM Show she would not apologise for what she said.
“Recently the NPP released their attack dogs on me for something I said. I don’t know why in 2019, political communicators still think that calling a woman an ashawo would gag her in any way. Maybe it’ll gag other women but definitely not me” she said.
The outspoken media person said she has a thick skin that cannot be penetrated by ancient insults.
“I stand by what I said about the NDC and the NPP. There is no way that I’ll apologize for the comments I made. I will never take them back. I stand by them”
“I think the NDC and the NPP are the bane of this country. They’re the reason we’re where we are. We need to be demanding more from them. We’re not seeking accountability from them and they’re taking us for granted, they’re taking us for a ride and I stand by my comments and I’ll never take them back,” she reiterated.
However, she registered that the president has done well especially by implementing the free SHS policy but they should be held accountable for not fulfilling all other promises including job creation, drilling of dams, etc.
