Obaapa Christy has officially gotten married to Nana Yaw Frankie, seven years after separating from Pastor Love Hammond.
The traditional wedding of the gospel musician took place in Accra on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Information available to ghanaweekend.com indicates that she got married to the same man his ex-husband accused her of going out with while they were married.
A few years ago, it was rumoured that she had already gotten married to Frankie in Germany. This recent ceremony raises questions about the verity of that story.
At present, she has a child with the man.
Yaw Frankie, a business mogul, has been instrumental in the comeback of Obaapa Christy in her music career.
Meanwhile, Pastor Love Hammond has intimated that he is still legally married to Obaapa Christy.
“Christy is still my wife on paper and I am not in a rush to marry any other lady until the court approves our divorce”, he had said in an interview with Zylofon FM in 2018.
Obaapa Christy has also accused Pastor Love of sleeping with his church members and her sister.
