Prince Bright of Buk Bak has disclosed that it took him so long to get over the death of Ronnie, a member of the group.

The Year of Return singer said he always loved to be pampered and losing Ronnie was a big blow which took him time and strength to adjust.

The hiatus in music productivity is due to the untimely death of the group member, he disclosed.

Speaking to Sammy Flex on ‘Real Talk’, he said: “The transition was tough for me that’s why I took a step back for a long while because I’m used to being pampered.”

“Losing a brother, losing a fatherly figure like Ronnie, it really hit me really hard. It took me a long time to actually understand the fact that this person is no more, you have to pick yourself up from the bottom and create something better for yourself because he left you a big legacy, something to look up to so it’s up to you to pick it up and just run with”

After dealing with the situation, he finally accepted the physical absence of Ronnie and adding that “I decided this year is going to be a different story. I’m going to come out stronger, I’m going to build myself as a brand and get back to what we used to do back in the day when we could pick and artiste and groom them and put them out. We started this whole get an artiste, put them out the whole thing so I believe it will be in the right direction if I go back to it and help others”

He concluded by saying he would not say no to the suggestion of doing projects with others but would not do a ‘group’ thing anymore.
