Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has said some derogatory words against the Ghanaian music industry.
The Dancehall artiste while performing to a mammoth audience at Afro Nation, Laboma Beach last night said the industry has been fighting him for a long time now.
According to the ‘My Level’ singer, he does not get to be on stages as big as the one he was on while making the comment, to be able to see pretty girls because the industry has been fighting him.

Like he usually does, he pauses in between performances, talks, sometimes advises the audience and insults whoever he feels has got issues with him and then continues his performance.
While performing, he took one of those breaks and said, “First of all, I just wanna thank Afro Nation for giving me this platform. It’s been years Ghanaian music industry has been fighting me alone Shatta Wale,” he said.
“And I don’t get to be on stages like this to meet pretty girls like these. See pretty girls. See nice girls. See nice girls ,” he added.
The dancehall artiste who is sometimes called drama king for the love of controversy concluded with, “heh Ghana Music industry mo maame tw3 paa wati”
He then told the dj, “give me that track”
