Sarkodie has disclosed that the birth of his daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo, also known as Titi has been a contributing factor to the sluggishness of his music career.

Speaking to KSM on his show, he explained he has always being a family man.

According to him, when Titi came, he just needed his space. He did not care about awards or pleasing his fans adding that  “I thought nothing else mattered”.

He clarified it took two years and that he has not really snapped out of wanting to be alone and enjoy his fatherhood but he realized he needed to work to take care of her.

Touching on the number of kids he wished for, the rapper described himself as an ‘old fashioned’ man who would have wanted more if not for the standards he has set and the responsibilities the kids come with.

“Me I’m old fashion o so I really wanted more but at the end of the day, with standards I’ve set for the kids, it comes with a lot of responsibilities so I need to be sure. I need to be realistic.

“But for now, I feel 3 wouldn’t be bad” he noted

The rapper has always shown affection and fondness for his family especially 3-year-old Titi Sarkcess.
