Nigerian singers, Simi and Adenkule Gold qualify as very secretive people.

Both successfully kept their dating out of the public’s eye, especially off social media.

She first confirmed people’s claims when she shared a picture of herself and Adenkule Gold kissing at her ‘Live In Lagos’ concert in December 2018.

Before sharing that picture, she shared one which she captioned: “God knew what He was doing when our paths crossed. Ur support is immense; ur love is overwhelming in the best way. Thank you Champ”.

The two being a thing started looking real after her post but she did not give out so much information on their secret until the two got married in a private ceremony in January 2019.

In an attempt to answer a tweet on Wednesday, 8th January 2020, she disclosed that she didn’t want people to know she was in love with someone called Adekunle.

A fan tweeted saying Simi’s ‘Joromi’ is her favourite song, to which he responded and another came to tweet about her energy on the song and that she seemed to have been in a happy mood.

First tweet: Joromi still remain my best simi’s song.

Second tweet: “The energy is different, I guess you were in a happy space when you recorded.. My favorite jam too and your first song Tiff”

Simi then replied, saying her initial plan was not to use, ‘Joromi’ that the plan was “Dekunle Dekunle, I want you to love me”, but she didn’t want it to sound like she loved him that much.

“Lol Happy place? Where? I was over it. I wrote like 4 songs on the beat before I wrote Joromi. I was actually going to use “Dekunle Dekunle – I want you to love me” – but I already had “Take Me back” and I didn’t wanna sound like I liked somebody called Kunle that much.” Simi wrote.
