Emmanuel Kwabena Prah popularly known as Eddie Khae has in a recent interview explained why his song is more known than his personality.
Eddie Khae’s ‘Do The Dance’ became a hit especially because of the funny dance that some Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) boys performed to the song.
The dance trended on social media for a long time and it became the official dance to the song.
However, although the song is well known by both young and old, the face behind the song is still not a familiar one.
Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, he explained he took time off to build himself for the music business and that the two years have done him good.
He feels he is now ready for full business and on that note, released a new one titled ‘Waow’ which features Joey B.
“Since 2018 when I released ‘Do The Dance’, it has always been the favourite of party-goers. Fortunately or unfortunately, the name behind that song is not too known but that is about to change.
“This year, I intend to be out there more and build a solid relationship with the people who enjoy my music. I was taking time to build myself and two years is good enough to get into a full-time business,” as quoted to have said in the interview with Graphic Showbiz
About the new song which talks about two different men trying to woo a woman, he explained, “This song depicts the unnecessary competition men engage in to win the heart of a woman and its presentation will surely catch on with boys boys”.
Aside from the known ‘Do The Dance’, he has other songs including, ‘Broken Heart’, ‘Small Small’, ‘Coupon’, ‘Switch Up’ and ‘Mandem’.
