Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog has described the Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a hypeman who is just going about talking.

According to the artiste manager, Bawumia is the hypeman to the worst president ever.

While commenting on the NPP government on 3FM with MzGee, he asserted that Dr. Bawumia does not qualify to be called a Vice President and that the president is also the worst in the history of Ghana.

To him, the two excellencies have not done anything significant since they resumed office.

He said Bawumia deserves to be behind bars for collaborating with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to distribute expired food to flood victims in Upper West Region.

“Bawumia is his (referring to the president) hypeman”

When MzGee corrected him by saying “That’s the vice president”, he replied, “No. that’s his hypeman. What job does he do? This is a man who should be behind bars. Do you know why? They went to the North to go and share food that had expired to people”

In 2018, NADMO, led by the Vice President went to distribute relief items including mattresses, rice and cooking oil to persons who lost their livelihoods to floods following spillage of Bagre Dam in the upper west regions.
However, the residents’ situation worsened from eating the food. Most of them suffered stomach upset and ended up in health facilities.
NADMO explained that the expired food items were not provided by the Vice President as the public thought.

Communications Director of NADMO, George Kwadwo Ayisi, said the expired items were isolated in their Warehouse in Wa and only managed to get into the items distributed by mistake.

“The boys that were loading thought those items were part of the items and added the six cartons of the oil,” the Communications officer stated on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show with Daniel Dadzie.
