Empress Gifty is almost always in the news for one thing or the other.
She has said that it is right for people to call her an attention seeker because she is one.
According to her, she intentionally creates stunts to get attention diverted from her colleague gospel artistes.
“When the country is calm (with no controversies) and sometimes when they (Ghanaians) are endlessly talking about a particular gospel musician and I want them to stop talking, I use my page to create confusion and divert attention to myself. Sometimes I create it myself,” she said.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, she actually said in an interview that any blogger that will write a fake story about her will die, adding that if a blogger needs traffic for his blog, he should tell her to do it for him.
“I don’t even want to comment about that thing. If he needs traffic, he should ask me. I’ll personally arrange with him and get it done,” she added.
When asked if she could be described as someone who loves attention, she said, “not I love attention. My name is Empress attention. If you don’t give me attention for three days, something happens to me. It is good. I love attention.”
