Financial institution, Barclays Bank (Absa), has released a press statement to clear the air on a video circulating on social media.
The video advertisement which is circulating on social media features Kumawood act, Kwadwo Nkansah ‘Lil Win’ and has Bosom Pyung’s song ‘Ataa Adwoa’ as background music.
Earlier, the manager of Bosom Pyung told Pulseghana.com that his team was not contacted prior to the advert.
Musician and politician, Kwame A Plus also made a long post on Instagram to condemn the bank for taking advantage of the new act who only became known few weeks ago through social media.
In reaction to the speculations, Barclays Bank which is now rebranding to Absa says its logo was used without their knowledge.
