A few hours ago, Barclays Bank (absa) refuted claims that they had used Bosom P-Yung’s ‘Ataa Adwoa’ for their advert.
The ad had Lilwin performing Bosom’s song and also bore the logo of the financial institution.
While everybody thought the bank was trying to infringe on Bosom’s copyright, the bank issued a press statement.
In the statement signed by Gilbert Yeboah, Lilwin’s manager, he noted that the Absa logo was mistakenly embossed on the video by their editor.
