Entertainment critic, Ola Michael says the only reason artistes are barely producing albums is that the music industry did not make provisions for the new digital age.
Speaking to Jay Foley and Emefa Adeti on Joy Prime’s morning show he said the movie industry is “picking up” after going into hibernation and that movie makers have been comfortable with the old way of making movies.
When the host, Emefa asked him how come the music industry has evolved and doing well yet the movie industry is still ‘struggling’, he replied, “music hasn’t benefited any. Because previously we were doing albums now we’re doing singles why because we also went to sleep.”
“how many people do album?” he quizzed.
