Yolo star, John Peasah is popularly known as Drogba has added his voice to the growing concern of producers not paying actors.
John who is also known as ‘Bla Charles’ as Drogba from featuring in the Yolo series said the reason he is barely seen in movies is that producers do not pay.
Kofi Adjorlolo has gone viral on social media over a video interview in which he bitterly complained about seven producers owing him.
“Some of the producers in Ghana here, they should respect themselves. An old man like me, they’ll call me to come and work and then they can’t pay me. About seven producers in this country they owe me monies…why? And then I’m sitting at home and I’m hungry…We have elderly people sick, lying there and producers owe them…The whole of Ghana here, all the actors they know what I’m talking about. Producers don’t pay. The producers owe actors,” he fumed.
After the video went viral, DKB also called out Kobi Rana for owing him and then a model who featured in Dahlin Gage’s video also complained about not being paid.
Drogba shared Kofi Adjorlolo’s video on Instagram and captioned it, “This is one of the reasons why you guys don’t see me in movies… it’s sad. Nam1 where are you ? Tell them daddy Kofi (future manager locate me wai ) oluwa is involved”
