Ghanaian artiste and model, Deborah Vannesa has disclosed that marriage is not one of the things she is considering.
According to her, the stories she has heard from her married friends are not encouraging.
In 2018 when she and Medikal were on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix with Sammy Forson, they talked about how they met, what they like about themselves and when Sammy asked them if they were going in for the long hall after the two years they have been together, Deborah replied, “we’re taking it long term”.
Touching on kids, Deborah confirmed it was a topic they usually talk about.
Medikal mentioned he wanted a boy and a girl and Deborah also added that she wanted a boy that looks like Medikal and a girl just like herself.
However, in a recent interview on Let’s Do Drinks with Larley on Youtube, she said she would not be unhappy or regret it if she does not get married in the future.
“I do have a couple of friends who have told me that when they got married their husband totally switched and changed on them that it’s not easy but you know they’ll still stay because of the children, society also have another friend who is like out of love with her husband because she always finds used condoms and stuff…at least he uses a condom.
“So, in a nutshell, marriage is not on my cards right now and if I never marry, I’m not ever going to regret or be unhappy so basically marriage means you being stuck with one person sort of” she stated.
About whether she plans to have kids now that she is no more with Medikal and not known to be dating anyone at the moment, she said, “I love children but I feel like because of the situation I’m in now as in I’m not in like a serious relationship. I’m not in love”.
