Dahlin Gage’s manager in an exclusive chat with Ghana Weekend has cleared the air on reports that his artiste exploited the model he used for his ‘Bed Time’ music video.
According to the manager, Agbeko, Dahlin Gage did not refuse to pay the model, Rose, for her services but rather did as the girl demanded.
From the chat-evidence made available to Ghana Weekend, the lady asked for transportation fare which he did after the shoot.
The manager also refuted claims that his artiste is threatening to kidnap the model.
He said the lady is rather sending her people to threaten his artiste and that she is spreading these rumours to get attention.
In December 2019, Dahlin Gage was on Sammy Flex’s Youtube show where he talked about paying the model a good amount of money.
When Sammy asked him how much he paid her, he replied,” That one dierr it’s between me and her. I can’t tell you”.
Sammy then asked if the money was good, he replied, “yeah it’s cool”.
Sammy again asked, using the car Dahlin Gage sat in during the interview to ask if the money was huge enough to buy his kind of car. To this, Dahlin Gage replied, “oh no but it was something that she can do something (with)”.
Weeks later, the model also made an appearance on the same show with her best friend, Obaa Yaa and both told Sammy that she was not paid and that the only amount she was given was GHS 50 for uber.
“He didn’t even call to say thank you for wasting your time with me yesterday. He didn’t pay anything and after the video that was the end of we [us] talking together. The next chat we had, was just insults, blackmailing and threatening from Gage” she stated.
She also told Sammy that the original concept was changed – “The director sent me everything but I think later on when we got to the set he had so many changes of plans because what I saw in what he sent is not exactly what we did. As in he wants more body exposure for the video” explaining that the only reason she felt comfortable going through with it was that she was assured some parts will be edited and blurred out.
She also demanded that Dahlin Gage pay her GHS 6,000.
DKB in a recent video post on Instagram called out Kobi Rana for owing him GHS500 and under the post, Rose who goes by Schnell on Instagram posted her frustration as a comment.
She said Dahlin Gage has threatened to kidnap her.
