In December 2019, Deborah Vanessa shocked fans when she made an appearance at Medikal’s Sowutuom Concert.
Not only was she at the show, but she also joined him on the stage to perform ‘Risky’ the song they did together.
Speaking to the matter on Let’s Do Drinks with Larley, Deborah said the people she talked to about the invite were not actually in agreement.
“…how I was disgraced and humiliated by my own friend. Yeah and betrayed. I know” she said to complete Larley’s question on why she still performed with her ex.
Explaining why she looked beyond their disagreement and the pain to go and perform, she stated, “I was invited and the thing about me is once again I ask one or two people and they were like eh no girls will be disappointed. You need to be angry” but after thinking about the whole scenario, she took her own decision adding that “I’m not even angry and I do have a song with that person that was a hit song and that’s my work so if the person was called at BET and he calls me to come and sing my verse, will I say I won’t go?”
